A BILL to repeal §11-12D-1, §11-12D-2, §11-12D-3, §11-12D-4, §11-12D-5, and §11-12D-6 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all relating to the Office of Business Registration and Creation of Centralized Records.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

Article 12D. Establishment of Office of Business Registration; Creation of Centralized Records.

§1. Repeal of article creating the Office of Business Registration and Creation of Centralized Records.

That §11-12D-1, §11-12D-2, §11-12D-3, §11-12D-4, §11-12D-5, and §11-12D-6 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, are hereby repealed, effective July 1, 2018.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal the article creating an office of business registration and creation of centralized records as it is obsolete. The one-stop portal under W. Va. Code §31D-1-131 supplants the purpose of the article.
